Holi 2021: From Amitabh bachchan to kareena kapoor, inside Bollywood holi celebration

The Holi festival is here with Bollywood and TV celebs making the most of occasion. Given the rise in COVID-19 cases, most have kept the celebration low key with just close family. They also took this as a chance to share throwback to some happy Holi memories.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a photo of himself celebrating Holika Dahan on Sunday night, giving a glimpse of the celebration at home.

                  

 Big B also shared an old photo of himself celebrating Holi with wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan. Captioning it in Hindi with his popular Holi song, the superstar wrote, " रंग बरसे भीगे चुनर वाली रंग बरसे

                

Abhishek Bachchan shared a lovely throwback family photograph with his 'girls' on Instagram. Sharing a long note, he wrote, "A throwback to safer and more carefree times. Happy Holi everyone. Please celebrate this most beautiful festival, but from the safety of your homes. The number of Covid-19 cases are on the rise and we have to remain disciplined. Stay home, eat gujjias, take the blessings of your parents and take care of your family."

Sanjay Dutt's Holi photo not only captured wife Manyatta and kids but also featured photos of his parents -- Nargis and Sunil Dutt. While wishing his fans, the actor wrote, "Keep the celebrations at home this year for the safety of your loved ones. Wishing you all a very Happy Holi."

               

Priyanka Chopra celebrated Holi with husband Nick Jonas and his parents in London, where she is shooting for her upcoming series Citadel. Sharing photos from their special Holi party, the global star wrote, ""Holi, the festival of colours is one of my favourites Hope we can all celebrate it with our loved ones, but in our HOMES! #HappyHoli everyone."

               

Kangana Ranaut shared that she will be working on Holi, however, she took time with her squad to celebrate Holika on Sunday night. Along with the photo, the actor wrote, "होली के दिन दिल खिल जाते हैं रंगों में रंग मिल जाते हैं... We are having a working Holi tom but nothing can stop us from pre Holi and Holika celebrations. This is my squad aka my family I wasn’t born with but u choose to keep #HappyHoli #Holika #Happy Holi".

            

 Giving Holi celebrations a miss this year, Divyanka Tripathi celebrated the festival remembering the good ol' days. Sharing a few photos from the past, the actor wrote, "Reminiscing Holi celebrations from last few years. Missing family & friends. Happy Holi to you all. Play it at home & Play safe."
