High court directed UP Government to make a Covid complain cell in every District.

Expressing concern over the spread of corona infection in rural areas and small towns and towns, the Allahabad High Court said that community and primary health centers still do not have treatment facilities for patients suffering from corona.

People are dying for lack of treatment. The court has sought details of facilities and testing in small towns, cities and villages from the state government. The court has ordered opening of Covid Complaint Cells in every district within 48 hours to investigate complaints of life-saving drugs and not getting the right treatment to patients suffering from Corana.

The judicial officer at the level of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Professor of Medical College and an Administrative Officer of ADM rank will be members of this committee. Complaints can be made directly from the SDM of the Tehsil in rural areas, who will send the complaints to the Complaints Committee.

The court has asked the state government to expedite the procurement of vaccine and to carry out vaccination campaign at war level in view of the fast spreading infection in urban and rural areas. However, the court has refused to interfere in the process adopted by the government.
