Neena gupta to star opposite Amitabh in “Goodbye”

This is the first time Neena and Amitabh will be seen opposite each other in a film. Thrilled to be a part of Goodbye, Neena Gupta said, “When Vikas narrated the film to me, I was so happy. It is a wonderful script and one doesn’t think about anything else when the script is this exciting. Even the role is beautifully written and I am very excited to be sharing the screen space with Mr Bachchan. It is a dream come true for me. I am quite ecstatic about it.”

Amitabh Bachchan had showered praises for Neena Gupta in a hand-written note, appreciating her performance in the 2018 film Badhaai Ho.

Neena Gupta will play the role of Amitabh Bachchan's wife in Goodbye. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role.

Rashmika celebrated her birthday on the sets of Goodbye. Owing to the current pandemic situation, the celebration was low-key and was done following all the necessary Covid-19 protocol. Sharing pictures from her birthday celebration Rashmika wrote, “What a satisfying day looks like..P.S. The mask was taken off only for clicks! Wear a mask at all times, guys (sic).” The birthday girl shared a picture with Big B and the other with Vikas Bahl. In the third photo, the actress can be seen posing with a bunch of gold and white balloons.
