Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Narendra Modi over crimes against women and said that the Prime Minister had launched 'Make in India' but nowadays it is 'Rape in India'. "Narendra Modi had said 'Make in India' but nowadays wherever you look, it is 'Rape in India'. In Uttar Pradesh Narendra Modi's MLA raped a woman, then she met with an accident but Narendra Modi did not utter a word," alleged Gandhi speaking at a public rally in Godda on Thursday.

Shiv Sena slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi after his 'I am not Rahul Savarkar' jibe at BJP at a rally in New Delhi. Shiv Sena said that, 'Veer Savarkar sought clemency from the British and insulting the Hindutva icon is unacceptable'. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut tweeted: “We believe in Pandit Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi. Do not insult Veer Savarkar.” Raut further tweeted, “Veer Savarkar is the God of not only Maharashtra, but the country. The name Savarkar implies national pride and self-respect. Like Nehru and Gandhi, Savarkar sacrificed his life for Independence... No compromise on this.”
