The Air Force of India (IAF) detected the remains of the lost An-32 aircraft that left the radar on June 3 in Arunachal Pradesh. A team of officers from the Indian Air Force (IAF) found the debris of the missing IAF An-32 aircraft that left the radar on June 3. He disappeared around 12:25 pm, half an hour after he took off.

The IAF has confirmed that the remains of the vanished An-32 were seen north of Lipo in Arunachal Pradesh. In a statement on Twitter, IAF said: "The remains of the # An32 disappeared were seen today 16 km north of Lipo, northeast of Tato at an approximate elevation of 12,000 feet by the helicopter search #IAF Mi-17 in the search zone expansion. "

The statement, however, does not mention the 13 staff members traveling in the unfortunate IAF jet. Intensive search operations have been carried out in the area since the IAF plane disappeared last week.

The family members of the missing personnel who were traveling aboard the plane have been stationed in Assam in anticipation of any news about the plane or its passengers. According to the ANI news agency, parts of the aircraft were located 15-20 km north of the flight path of the An-32 aircraft in Arunachal Pradesh. The IAF helicopter teams participated in this mission.

Bad weather had paralyzed air search operations of the plane lost for two days earlier this week, while ground operations continued in the mountainous area. The An-32 aircraft of Russian origin with 13 people on board lost contact on Monday afternoon after taking off from Jorhat in Assam for Mechuka advanced on the landing near the Chinese border.

The IAF announced on Saturday a reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone providing information on the location of the An-32 transport aircraft. Resources from several agencies, including the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), were incorporated to improve the effectiveness of the search operations.

The assets deployed for the rescue operation included Sukhoi-30 aircraft plus a fleet of C-130J and An-32 aircraft and Mi-17 and ALH helicopters. Apart from that, the ground forces included army troops, Indo Tibetan border police and state police. The Cartosat and RISAT satellites of Isro were also used to take pictures of the area around Menchuka.

According to IAF officials, efforts are focused on establishing a link by land and establishing the whereabouts of the missing crew members. The An-32 is a twin-engine turboprop transport aircraft and the IAF currently operates a considerable number of them. The IAF launched a massive operation to track the lost plane, but the search was badly affected by bad weather conditions.
