UP: A tough fight between BJP and SP in Panchayat elections, Congress-BSP-backed candidate in Awadh ahead

All the major political parties of Uttar Pradesh contested the three-tier panchayat election as a rehearsal for the 2022 assembly elections. The district panchayat member landed the official expectation. Many current and former MPs, family members of MLAs and their supporters were also made candidates. Now in the initial trends of counting, there is a direct competition between BJP and SP.

In the three-tier panchayat elections held before the UP assembly elections, there is a strong and strong contest between the ruling party BJP and the main opposition party SP.
