Sachin Tendulkar, Allan Donald joined the ICC Hall of Fame

The Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar was included in the Hall of Fame of the International Cricket Council along with the legendary South African Allan Donald.

Along with Tendulkar and Donald in the Hall of Fame, the winner of the Australian World Cup Cathryn Fitzpatrick, twice winner of the World Cup.

"It's a great honor for me," Tendulkar said at the induction ceremony held here on Sunday night.

The 46-year-old former right-handed hitter is considered the best player he has ever played along with Sir Donald Bradman and remains the main accumulator of races in both events and ODIs.

He has 34,357 runs in all formats and is the only batter who has 100 internationals under his belt.

Donald, 52, is one of the best bowlers who has played the game and had 330 tests and 272 ODI windows under his belt before leaving it in 2003.
