Mother's Day will be celebrated all around the world on May 12 this year. As if like everyday is dedicated to our mother, but in today's busy lifestyle, we can not spend much time with our mother. There are many assumptions about Mother's Day. Some believe that this special day of Mother's Day was began from America. A woman named Anna Jarvis started celebration of Mother's Day in Virginia. It is said that Anna loved her mother very much and was very inspired by her. After Anna's mother died, she started this special day to show respect to her. The people of the Christian community consider this day as a day of VirginMary. Another story related to this is that Mother's Day was started from Greece. According to the beliefs, Sybees was the mother of Greek gods and people used to worship her on Mother's Day.

On May 9, 1914, American President Woodrow Wilson passed a law. In this law it was said that Mother's Day will be celebrated on the second Sunday of May. After this, in many countries including India, this special day began to be celebrated on the second Sunday of May. So spend time with your mother on this special occasion of Mother's Day, do all that you can not do due to being busy and make your mother happy by giving her special gifts.
