KANPUR-CM Yogi angry over negligence in treatment, preparations for action on many doctors

The Chief Minister has expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment management at Kanpur Medical College. He has reprimanded the Medical College Principal for not taking rounds of senior doctors, not treating patients and timaradars properly. The District Magistrate, late night, Principal Prof. RB Kamal has been given notice. Have asked to improve the situation in 24 hours.

The Chief Minister was discussing with the officers through video conferencing. He lambasted the officers for the deaths. In fact, CM is getting information from sources that care is being done in the care of Kovid patients. Treatment is being done with the help of junior doctors.

Doctors are not seeing patients. The details of the deaths are being recorded late on the portal. The Chief Minister has expressed displeasure over this. In the same episode, District Magistrate Alok Tiwari issued a notice at night and got the medical college's attention on all points.

Preparation to take action against a dozen doctors

Officials of the Medical College Administration came into action after receiving a notice from the Kanpur District Magistrate. Principal Prof. RB Kamal has given notice to a dozen doctors and employees in the case of negligence in data feeding. According to the Principal, in the cognizance of DM's notice, clarification has been sought from the doctors and staff responsible. Now two doctors and two staff have been deployed 24 hours to update the data.
