BJP MP from Kanpur, Satyadev Pachauri on Thursday wrote a letter to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urging the district administration and health department officials to give instructions in advance to anticipate the third wave of covid-19 epidemic.

Referring to the lack of proper treatment for covid-19 patients in Kanpur district, the MP said that patients are not getting treatment in time and are dying outside their homes, ambulances or hospitals. More people are dying in the second wave than the first wave of the covid-19 epidemic.

Pachauri said in the letter that many experts in the country and abroad have feared that the third wave of the covid-19 pandemic could occur in India, which would be relatively fatal. He said that the government should prepare for this in advance. Medical staff, paramedical staff, oxygen, medicines and vaccination will have to be properly arranged so that people do not face difficulties in the third wave of the covid-19 epidemic. The MP has requested the Chief Minister to meet with the officials and make concrete arrangements to deal with it before the third wave. He said that he felt that everyone should get medical help during an epidemic.
