The viral challenge stormed Twitter and Instagram with the transformations of age. The application has become viral in the region and around the world this week; all thanks to a simple face mapping AI trick.

Celebrities and regulars shared Instagram and Twitter images of what their faces would look like in 60 years. and let's be honest, the "old" selfies are extremely realistic.

FaceApp is a mobile application designed to create realistic face transformations using various filters and features, the first version of which was released in 2017. The free version offers a limited selection of filters, including the one that is currently to become viral.

The feature that makes the tweeps more and more insane for the app is the "old" option: the app gives you three versions of your face - two young and one that looks really old and a probability alarming.
Many users have posted photos of their favorite celebrities and sportsmen with the filter, some celebrities and influencers have also taken the bandwagon.

The user-created collage (shown below) of the Indian Cricket team is widely shared on social media platforms. Older versions of Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor have collected hundreds of thousands of likes on Instagram, while Malayalam actor Hareesh Kanaran has used his post at Faceapp to compliment the seemingly eternal youth of the world.
