Corona's havoc: For the first time in the country, 3.32 lakh new cases came out in 24 hours, 2263 died

Corona virus is wreaking havoc in the country and with new cases increasing rapidly, the death toll is also increasing. According to the Union Health Ministry, 3 lakh 32 thousand 730 people have been infected with the corona virus in the last 24 hours in India, while 2263 people died during this period. After this, the number of corona infected in India has increased to 1 crore 62 lakh 63 thousand 695 and 1 lakh 86 thousand 920 people have lost their lives.

According to statistics, 1 crore 36 lakh 48 thousand 159 people have been cured across the country so far from covid-19. However, in the last few days, the rate of recovery has steadily declined and has come down to 83.92 percent. With this, active cases are increasing continuously and 24 lakh 28 thousand 616 people are being treated across the country, which is 14.93 percent of the total number of infected people.

The corona virus has caused the worst situation in Maharashtra and the state is witnessing record cases every day. According to the data released by the Maharashtra Health Department on Thursday, 67013 new cases were registered in the state in the last 24 hours, while 568 patients died and 62298 people were cured. After this, the number of corona infected in the state has increased to 40 lakh 94 thousand 840, out of which 33 lakh 30 thousand 747 patients have been cured and 6 lakh 99 thousand 858 active cases are present.
