Baked vegetable Au Gratin
Baked Vegetable Au Gratin is one of the first dishes that comes to mind when one thinks of continental delicacies. Much loved across the world, this French dish is made by baking a mixture of assorted veggies and white sauce, coated with cheese or bread crumbs.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups chopped and boiled mixed vegetables (french beans, carrot, green peas, and sweet corn kernels)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 n 1/2 cups white sauce
- salt as per taste to taste
- 3/4 cup grated processed cheese
Method
- Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the mixed vegetables and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the white sauce, salt and pepper powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish , sprinkle the cheese evenly over it and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 ºc (400ºf) for 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
