A family restaurant in Bangkok is famous worldwide for a special type of soup they have prepared for more than four and a half decades. However, unlike other gourmet restaurants, Wattana Panich has been serving a special soup with the same broth for the past 45 years.
The meat noodle soup is called Neua Tune and Nattapong Kaweenuntawong takes care of it with the help of his mother and his wife.
“For 45 years, the soup soup has never been thrown away after a day of cooking. We have stored the broth overnight and then use it to cook the soup the next day, "Nattapong told the Great Story.
Nattapong adds that the unconventional cooking method adds a unique flavor and aroma and has been a great success in Bangkok since 1974.
In addition to the 45-year-old soup, Wattana Panich's specialties include stewed meat, sliced ??raw meat, meatballs and rice noodles. However, meat soup is still the most demanded item to this day.
However, the concept of "perpetual stew" or "hunter's pot" is not new. It refers to the ancestral practice of keeping a pot of soup simmering for a long time by adding ingredients such as meat, vegetables and liquids to the broth after short intervals.
